Matt Shark or simply Shark, as he is known to his friends and colleagues, is a strikingly handsome man with rugged good looks and piercing blue eyes. With a 6ft.2in heavy set frame, kept in impeccable shape due to his love of all marshal arts, his favourite being Krav Maga, Shark is more than capable of handling himself. As a Detective Inspector, his street style combat has more than once came to the rescue in tricky situations.

Matt graduated in criminal psychology, he went on to finish top of his class in police training. At the age of twenty seven Matt Shark had reached the rank of Detective Inspector at Durham Constabulary.
